I'm looking to purchase an F32 435i in the near future, I currently have an E90 320D due to the amount of miles I currently do. I've learned everything there is to learn about the E series in terms of options and how you can tell any car has them by looking at a few pics to doing retrofits and mods myself.

I know I can tell if the car has power folding side mirrors by looking at the window switch panel, just small things like this help a lot and I can bring forward from owning an E90 and E87.

I was wondering if anyone could help me understand the F series a bit better, such as certain options that are must have and what options even come as standard, if anyone could provide a list that would be great. I will definitely be getting an early model M-Sport if that helps.

Also what mods and retrofits people have done that they really like since I like making the car my own by modding in a tasteful way.

A few mods in mind are;

- Retrofit android screen mirroring
- BMW performance or aftermarket backbox
- Active cruise control retrofit (maybe)
- HUD and 6WB retrofit
- Exterior lips and side skirts.

Then potenially going FBO.

Any thoughts and advice would be appreciated.

Hi, I know this is not the right place but no harm in commenting.
I have a black 435d 64 plate MSport, I love it!
I have done the following which are not tacky:
1. Rear boot lip
2. Rear diffuser
3. Front splitter
4. Removed front grills and painted chrome black (I need to share elsewhere how I made a tool to remove these without removing anything else)

All above match body colour, if white for example I would have done carbon fibre or clack matt/gloss for contrast.

All I would like to change are wheels to black/diamond cut from grey/diamond cut but can't quite justify!
