M logo caliper paint color
Long story short, previous owner managed to get quite a bit of paint overspray on the rear drivers caliper(blue m sport). I managed to remove the worst of it, but it took off a lot of the silver m on the decal. I know the color codes of the reds and blues, but I can't find anything on the silver M. I tried some random silvers and I can't quite get it close enough.

Your best bet at this point is to buy a set of the aftermarket ///M brake caliper decals off eBay and affix over the ruined painted logos
Don't think you'll be able to hand paint the logo back on there so that it looks good & I have not heard of any stencils to make the job easier using spray paint...

I bought one decal and they dont seem to be the right size for the rear, I used a paint pen with a color that wasn't a good match, but its indiscernible from a few feet away. If I can get an exact color or a closer match I think a paint pen would be just fine. I would probably spray some high temp clear on the caliper anyways. |
