Coding

Is it still possible to code blinkers from 3x to 5x when you depress blinker arm?

Hi, Would this work on my 2015 220d m sport coupe? I can’t get my mirrors to fold. Grateful for any help. Katie

Enabling the sport mode options on the dash, I come up with a /M550d logo.. anyone know how to change that, or is that just it?

It would only do that if someone coded it so. You would use the cheat sheet to find the code line and the default value to return it to normal.

Sorry for bringing this thread back to life. How did you change digital speed to the actual speed, and not the inflated version? Thx

Mine now reads 1MPH higher than actual speed. Which is fine for me.

Best thing I coded on my car is the sports display, even though I'm on a EfficientDynamics Diesel with basic Radio

Hi guys,

I have an F30 is there any way to display the speed in the central of the monitor (where you have radio, etc.)?

Thank you

For me was to disable Auto Start/Stop by default, it is the most annoying thing ever.

I agree. Does anyone else who has done this find theirs will occasionally come on though? I did a 3 hour drive yesterday and it was disabled when I set off, but when I arrived at my destination it seemed to have re-enabled itself.

Also every so often it seems to be enabled when I start the car up. Perhaps about 1 in every 10, maybe 15 times. Not a big deal as it's mostly gone, but just wondering if it's just my car or what.

For me it only comes on when using ECO mode.

I coded to remember last set setting, and I have never had a problem with that.

There is separate coding to disable start stop also in eco mode. Otherwise it will turn on when using eco pro and stay that way until engine is restarted or manually disabled.

You can choose from a list if you don;t like that one. I stuck with the Rolls sound and "i" startup screen until last week. Now it's that BMW Xmas animation
Do you know how to make the animation appear every time? It seems to only appear once every blue moon

The animation is shown while the head unit is booting up. You'll see it if you unlock the car and start the engine immediately afterwards.

Now that I got the 10.25" Android screen, the best thing I coded is having enabled the wider screen on the original Radio HU with Splitscreen support.

Hello, could you elaborate more about this? I got another bimmer (an F48) but with the small 6.5 screen without navigation, I can't decide between getting just an CarPlay Wireless box (already installed on a F32 and loving it) and keep the 6.5 screen, or making the jump to an Android big screen system, I want to keep eveything as stock as possible. Can I still use the original iDrive menu without resolution distortion? I guess I will need to code it like you said? thanks in advance.

Yes the original OEM will stay. The android frontend is just basically sits on top of your original radio

Best thing I’ve coded...

Removing the warning messages. I had a loaner for a week and was so annoyed at having to ‘Accept’ the warning messages every damn time made me really appreciate coding those away.

A close second would be having my 328d start in ECO PRO mode as I cruise comfortably to almost 50 mpg each time I fill up. I’ve ‘earned’ almost 80+ miles driving in this mode and it makes me smile. I know, I know, why even drive a Bimmer if you aren’t driving a Bimmer 😳

When I'm going to be using valet parking, I use Bimmercode to set my 440i with MPPSK to start in ECO mode.

I did on mine last week. As I understand it newer year models don't have this ability, but my 2015 does.
