Hi guys, I am booked In for a xhp flash this week and was all set for stage 2 but am having last a last minute change of heart and thinking I may be missing the chance to go stage 3. I have researched for weeks but there isn’t masses of info on the flashes on f30’s. Just wondering if anybody can give me feedback on both the stage 2 & 3 when daily driving going to work etc and city driving?

Why don't you do it your self? It is very easy and you can change it any time you want. How much are you paying for it?

Xhp licenses give you the ability to swap in between stages with ease and obviously you're paying for all stages so just flash all of them and see which you like.

I have been quoted £250 for the xhp flash but obviously this is for one go. How much would I be looking at to purchase the license myself, bearing in mind I don’t have an android device so would also need to buy a new phone?

It is 299 for the xhp licence. You could make a VM on your laptop and instal android and do it from there. Other people have bought cheap android tablets just to use with xhp.

299 is all you need to pay for xhp to have unlimited changes between stock and maps 1,2 and 3.

Make sure the android device has USB OTG functionality.

And you will need an OBD/DCAN cable. You can find cheap ones on amazon.

Overall it is very easy to do.

Spoke to the guy and it’s 250 for the stage 3 and if for some reason I dislike it he would put me to stage 2 for £50. I can then switch between the 2 for free so it’s cheaper to go with him. I also don’t plan on switching once I am happy.
I will get a review of the stage 3 up once I have tested it as there seems to be very few f30 330d reviews out there.

that being said, there is still inconclusive evidence that this actually aids performance.
