XHP Stage 2 help

Hey guys I just flashed my 340 to xHP Stage 2 and when using the paddles in M Mode the shifting is insane. However in regular D mode in comfort, sport, or sport+ the gears are upshifting way too quick before I even get into a higher rpm (into the highest gear possible) Also in sport and sport+ mode instead of the RPM always hanging around 2.5k-3k when cruising, it's still dropping into 8th gear. Kind of annoying in D mode. If anyone has settings that prevent this I would appreciate it.

You'll have to dial in settings and experiment to find what you like.
That being said there are no settings you can change to make it like the experience you have in manual mode. It simply cannot be that intuitive. It also changes its behavior based on your driving habits. If you're in sport + but never give it heavy throttle it's going to start to adapt to that. Conversely, if you're always hammering it out of every corner it will learn to expect that as well. I couldn't be happier xHP OTS tunes. I like the fact that I can still drive it daily in comfort and sport and not have it snap my spine.
But put it into manual mode and it's an absolute joy. I don't do any spirited driving in auto mode, i mean why would you?

I have heard that complaint before. (I don't have xHP myself yet, but I am planning it soon.)

What if you choose "Use Stock Shiftmaps"? Wouldn't that solve the issue?

I would give the XHP manual a read then go through the settings. There are fairly intuitive changes you can make in the settings pages to make the car shift earlier/later/etc to your liking. I run stage 3 and the only thing i changed was max RPM to 6100 in all gears unless kickdown is depressed.
