Front Bumper Reinforcement (F30)

Does anyone know if there would be an issue if I remove the front bumper reinforcement/front rebar of my vehicle?

I'd like to know since I'm planning to do some modifications and I'm having fitment issues because of the front rebar.

Also, will this affect my insurance in any shape or form if I ever get in a collision?

I would think with out that you could run into issues with your insurance if you got into an accident. You bumper cover doesn’t mount to it so I don’t see an issue with that. I wouldn’t remove it.

Keep that stuff on. If you ever got in an accident and someone got really hurt then you not having that could void insurance or they'll use that information against you somehow. It's there for a reason, keep it on I say.

This. Unless it's strictly a track toy, I don't see the point in removing things designed to protect you and keep you safe. On that note though, sir, you seem knowledgeable. Would you like to join a group chat? :P
