mFlasher is finally coming to iOS.
Since the initial release of mFlasher windows app years ago, we had a lot of customers request that we release a mobile version of our app. So finally, we have listened and the app is coming out! It is currently being final beta tested by our dealers and everyone who has purchased tunes in the past from us, will have direct access to it.
Currently, the app uses a basic Lightning RJ45 adapter paired together with eNET cable. If you have iOS and are already our customer, or plan on purchasing our product in the future, then you should order your adapter online. Here is a link to a generic Lightning adapter on amazon: https://www.amazon.com/Lightning-Eth...s=ios+ethernet The app will also support a generic Wi-Fi OBD adapter in the second release version. The WiFi (old school CAN bus) adapter is completely fine for Data-Logging and minor tasks, BUT we highly recommend using Ethernet adapter for the flashing process, at least the initial unlock. Bosch designed MDG1 ECU families to run 100% on flex-ray network for majority of functions, and gateway in all late year Fxx and all Gxx series has been re-redesigned to have full Ethernet (eNET) protocol. CAN was still left in place for "Legal Compliance" reasons such as smog stations and generic Hand-Held scanners but that bus is not designed to perform a 2mb+ flash routines. That old bus still Can do it and flash a ECU (I have seen people flash a 500mb file over CAN), but Ethernet was implemented to lower the chance of bootloader corruption and possible risk of Locking the ECU permanently. So, the app will support both options for flashing/logging, but we highly recommend using eNET for at least initial unlock flash. |

So we will eventually be able to log using a generic wifi ODB2 dongle?
If so that is awesome. |

Is there a specific list of platforms that are/will be supported?

The platform that you're able to open the software and load it onto your card. This is essentially what Alex is talking about. I suppose it's equivalent to opening a .note file on notability, or opening a .doc file on Microsoft .

The app is right around the corner, and will be available shortly. To those who have asked, the app is just a platform or "way" of loading our tunes onto a car. You still area loading the same file as you would, with lets say our mFlasher for PC, but instead, you can use your iPhone.

It's been 72 days since Mission's last update, where they said "The app is right around the corner, and will be available shortly."
At this point I'd sure appreciate any update of any kind as to progress. |

At this point I wouldn't count on it until it's actually released

I recently (2 days ago) bought and flashed the transmission tune and upgraded my ecu tune as well from stage 2 to stage 3. Is this stage 3 the stage 2.5 everyone speaks of? I had to reflash the "stage 3" again yesterday because my cold start was back and Alex said the new stage 3 uses the newer bmw firmware which is a little more complicated when it comes to the cold start. In any case he sent me the revision yesterday morning and the cold start is gone again
Anyways, car is night and day stronger/faster and feels incredible
