First of all, thanks Bimmerpost admin and editors, etc. for bringing us this coverage. Your continued great work is to be commended!
Second, okay, I think I can live with the steering wheel... Rest of car looks good enough to compensate! Lastly, BMW, please, please, don't make this the steering wheel for the M3/M4!

Not that I don't like the non-M-Sport models but the 335 with it looks much better because it stretches the front of the car vertically so it doesn't have that flat/pointed look. And it helps that it doesn't remind me of an Audi.

love the front end - but dislike the square hood and how "BIG" that bumper is dislike the interior - much prefer the double hump dislike the steering wheel - too mercedes c300 (i don't like scrolling) dislike how small the rear diffuse is wonder if this exhaust system will fit on the e90s all in all, nice job by bmw, but i am glad i have an e90 lci.

Looks pretty frickin' nice! Can't wait to see it in person at the NAIAS.

That steering wheel has to go. And the shift knob. Why can't they make it small like the DCT?

To answer two questions I saw in this thread:
Tweeters are still in the same place as on the E90, looks like we now have a new midrange driver in addition to the woofer and (presumably) the usual subwoofers under the seats) Volume controls are on the right side of the steering wheel on new BMWs, our F10 528i is the same way. I prefer it on the left, but it's not a big deal. |

since I see no mention of it- am I the only one who thinks the sport seats in the F30 look horrendous? they look so flat and square, I cant fathom them being that comfortable. worst case, couldnt they have just used the same seats from the e90 models? its like they went backwards in design on this. Hopefully my perception is completely wrong. was just sitting in a B8 S4, now those are some nice seats! |
