I've used products similar to this at Canadian Tire (http://www.canadiantire.ca/en/pdp/tu...l#.U0awtIZJNew) just make you sure you get the carpet wet and then use this. A little bit of muscle and it came out.

All weather rubber mats. All you need is a hose. There was a set in my trunk when I got the car home. Not sure if dealer threw them in or if it was part of the M Perf package?

Mix 1 part vinegar 2 parts water, and gently rub out the salt stains with a sponge or rag.
Then when its dry and you're sure all the salt is gone, flush out the vinegar with clean water. |

Agreed! They were already "installed" when I picked my 335i up. Snug fit, looks good and works even better. Less worry in the rain/snow Definitely worth the money.

This was a harsh winter and even with the factory mats I had salt staining near the accelerator and also at the end of the mat under the seats.
I used 5 cans of salt eraser from CT at $9.99 a can, stuff purchased from eShine.ca as well as a carpet cleaner from Chemical Guys and absolutely nothing worked to my satisfaction. I had a bottle of Bissell tough stain carpet pre -treatment cause my son has frequent nose bleeds and would drip all over the hallways as he ran to the bathroom. I sprayed it on and left it for 15 mins and to my surprise all the hard salt and stains had completely disappeared. At $5.99 a bottle, works like a charm with absolutely no scrubbing. Just dab with a damn cloth afterwards. |

Wife has to drive it occasionally when I work on her car and I spend a lot of time on the phone when I'm on the road so the 6mt was out of the question this time around 😓 |
