I can't believe after 3-4 years of this motor being out that a proper fueling solution/system has not come out yet. Seems kind of ridiculous to be honest. We are still talking about methanol and port injection, but can't get a @#$% replacement pump?
LPFP is easy, HPFP not so much. There still isn't a proper HPFP upgrade for the N54 and that's been out for 13 years.

Looking at our HPFP, it looks very similar to the N55 ones. So I would expect something like the XDI HPFPs shouldn't be too hard to adapt to a B58.

Decided to gap stock plugs myself (3k mi only) per Alex recommendation to 0.022. Took time however, since it was a pain to get to the last coil which required to pull tower brace, plastic covers, foam thing, etc.

Flash process is easy (I'm technical) and straight forward as described perfect on page 1.
The end result is complete satisfaction running on Stage 3 DME and stage 1 trans tune with stock downpipe, exhaust but 93 Shell! Highly recommend.

I might dyno in August on independent Dynojet running x-drive.

I’d like to, but it will be a while until temps drop around 65* (95* + now ). I’d say comes October I’d hit Union Grove 1/4 mile strip up in WI.

First custom pump has already been installed and ran in our car. We were able to get about 10% more fuel volume out of it, which is a decent improvement, The downside was the pricetag to build it, so with any decent mark-up over built costs, it just makes no sense. So now we are working on something else with similar improvements but much cheaper price tag.

Would a XDI pump physically fit on a B58?
I think B58 and N55 HPFPs are similar with just slightly different mounting.

Alex tuned M340i. Good job! And I'm happy he is doing SAE not STD like others for bragging rights

Here is the comparison - 340i vs M340i (dyno charts from MP and seems done on the same dyno). Notice a decent advantage in stock form for M340i (which is expected), however I feel very comfortable for tuned version for ours F30 vehicles .

I've scheduled my stg 3 dyno late August (dynojet) just out of curiosity, then hit the 1/4 mile strip.

factory stock:
340i - 294/323
m340i - 338/381

tuned:
340i (stg2) 443/433
M340i (stg 1.5) 435/474

Yep, exactly right! Very with gains and drivability. This is faster than any stock F80 M3. Would be nice to line up with Tesla model 3 dual motor

Dyno coming late August then fall 1/4 mile

Another interesting observation, my gas mileage actually has been increased to 22.8mpg as an average with Shell 93. Obviously, I’m not running like nuts but not easy either.

I've been doing a lot of research trying to decide which flash tune to get and one of the main factors to me is the ability to retain linear throttle mapping (which is the default mapping for stock comfort and DSCoff modes). Can anyone or Alex himself comment on whether their tune retains the stock throttle maps for each mode? Or if it's possible to make every mode have a linear throttle map that'd be awesome as well. I just hate the feeling of that twitchy throttle in sport+. I remember MHD used to let you pick this as an option in their app back when I used them to flash my old N54, very convenient.

I'd like to see that 340 on the same dyno with BM3 Stage 2. I bet the delta would be interesting!

We do not modify throttle characteristic curve on any of our tunes unless asked for. You still get pretty lazy throttle in Eco, relatively linear throttle in comfort and a bit sensitive one in sport. We can also carry over comfort throttle to sport modes, but that is not something that is usually requested.

One of these days I'll find a used Draggy and a track that's cheap enough.

That's awesome to hear! On another note I have a MT and there's a noticeable delay in torque delivery after fast 1-2 and sometimes 2-3 shifts. Fully stock car. Can anything be done to tune this delay out? Anyone else notice this? Apparently was a big issue on the old MT n54's too but oddly enough I never noticed it back when I had one, pretty evident here though.

Hello guys...

I purchased my tune on the webpage but when I try to load it says vehicle not found...

Tried to call MP... and their phone is disconnected...

How long do I have to wait when I purchase it until I can load it?

If you called us outside of business hours, then you won't get an answer over the phone since we are out of the office. Please call on Tuesday as that's when we are back, but better yet, send us an email with your order number and we might be able to assist you over the weekend.

Also, vehicle not found error indicates that you have no connection between the laptop and your vehicle. Most likely causes are bad eNet cable, Ethernet adapter is not being set into automatic dhcp mode, or you having recently plugged in legacy (CAN) device to your OBD2 port.
