After some further research, I posted on a couple of FaceBook groups and a Member has a contact with Andream.

I've paid £161 delivered for the box ($200 plus PayPal fees).

I'll keep you posted on delivery etc.

You can try turning on "Mobile Data Always Active" in your phone's developer settings.

I have that same message but I don't think it means you don't have internet. It's just that the AA unit doesn't have internet to share with the phone. When connected, all my internet stuff works fine.

Maybe someone can correct me, but I think the wifi is only used to stream AA from the phone and BT is used to set up that connection.

Hi all,

Set up my Andream unit yesterday and generally happy.

One thing which I cant get to work in night mode for Google maps. I have tried developer options and the different options.

Is there a solution. I saw the Bimmertech update solves this but I would rather stay with what I have.

My wireless AA works fine but like I showed in the picture it says connected without internet so I dont get internet on my phone, I dont know if its meant to be like this if someone can help

Ok guys I'm sorry if I'm going on abit, so I bought the andream reverse camera but don't know what wires connect to what I'm new to this I just want to make sure I am doing it right, I have attached pictures if someone can show me what goes where 🤗 thank you

I don't use AA but if you are the most recent andream update and it's not working, then the only alternative would be to wait for an official update or flash one that's working like bimmertech. The only issue is showing invalid update in mmi which doesn't matter for the 1.5 seconds you would see it a day

On the mmi connection it's very straightforward (it's listed what connects to what). For the rear connection it's ground and power (besides the 4 pin connector). You can tap into the break lights or use one of the fuses in the trunk. Check real oem for the diagrams

Yellow wire on MMI to red wire on the RCA cable.

Other end of the RCA cable red wire to red on the power cable.

Black on power cable to ground.

Bin the stupid little box thing it's not needed (and wouldn't work when I tried to use it).

Are you using CarPlay or AA?

The automatic day/night mode switching is a known issue on Samsung phones, and some others, running Android 9.0 and 10.0. The best workaround I have found uses Tasker to switch the phone to dark mode based on ambient lighting.

Tasker is a little complicated but the tutorial should make it doable.
