Production form F30 3 series sedans have now hit the streets in force and we bring you the first look at a base F30 3 series. The F30 3 series models revealed at the reveal event two weeks ago were all examples of the upcoming F30 lines - Sport Line, Modern Line, and Luxury Line [full details and photos].

On the exterior, the blue F30 shows that a base trim model will differ from the "Line" models mostly in the lack of any extra front bumper adornments. This is also the first look at the all new Liquid Blue color on an F30. Liquid Blue will be available from March 2012.

Also posted below are photos of a Havana Metallic F30 Modern Line model.

The F30 officially comes to market in February 2012.

Our F30 news coverage can be found at: http://www.bimmerpost.com/3-series/f30/

The front looks like a very angry bat. I like the rear end though.

Is it just me, or with that bumper design the intercooler won't seem to get much air?

I think the headlights and kidneys are aggressive enough and with a bumper re-design...it's going to look hot. A bumper that extends down lower and doesn't look like an angry grin.

The E90 is going to look out-dated soon, just like the 5-series.

Probably won't be too big of a deal in person especially in darker colors but what were they thinking with that hood line. Why couldnt they just have it in its normal position touching the headlights/kidney?

Massively better than the E90 and I'm sure I'm in the minority, but better than the F10 too.

I like the e90's better so far. The e90's looked clean to me both inside and out. I will have to see a f30 in person and maybe that will change my mind.

It's an eye sore!!!! I don't understand why the line couldn't just go to the top of the grill like in previous models. It was something that worked well so why change it

Have you people been in a cave? It's been said so many times since the X1 and F10 came out that the new front end shape and resulting hood cutline are due to new pedestrian safety standards. Now stop bitching bout it cause it's not going away

Making those tiny ugly rims standard AGAIN was a huge mistake. They look like they're from the grand piano.

It looks great. The base model bumper looks better than the "line" bumper. I like the angry look it

The front is growing on me! Not that the rear looks bad, but I think the e90 LCI rear looks sharper.

It's called an opinion, no need for the attitude. Don't like it? Then don't comment on my opinion
