I have a new problem.
I import all the FSC codes into my car.
The navigation and "apple carplay" are enabled.
But after a few minutes or after restarting Idrive (by pressing the 'volume' button for 20 seconds) all FSC codes are lost

Do you know why ?

I specify that I import all FSC except: FSC_01700001.fsc
I have an error on this one.

Do you think it comes from the system: 0x170 Component Protection?

I have no idea why it works for short time, then stops.

As for 170 that is needed only if CP has been triggered, and it is only for cars with BDC Module.

Introduction of component protection for Head Unit High 2
Benefit: To protect against theft, the Head Unit (HU-H2) of the specified vehicles with production date as of November 2016 is coupled to the Body Domain Controller (BDC).
Vehicles: G11, G12, G30, F15, F16, F85, F86, F54, F60 as of 11/16 can be dealt with
For the installation of a HU-H2 new part, the locking is performed automatically by ISTA 4 or ISTA/P.
In the following cases the component protection must be activated in order that the navigation function works properly:
For a cross-exchange of a HU-H2,Technical Support must perform the locking.
In the case of a BDC exchange the lock must be performed by Technical Support.
Also see PuMA measure 62960142
I would imagine it is possible, but not easy to circumvent."

The donor VIN car (F15 - X5) was build in 11/2016 ...

I am familiar with it. As I wrote above, it is for vehicles with BDC. If you have CP Lock, I don't think it would work at all, not even for short period as you experience. You can confirm CP Lock or not though by reading fault codes.

dont know why,but i managed to pull out the 1b.hex from BMW
and tried both fsc.bat and BMW_CIC_FSC_Generator,but nothing happens :/
Generator doesnt show any options after i choose the 1b.hex file.

--update...ahh! maybe the reason is that i bought Lifetime west europe map 2015 using bmw navimaps.co.uk year 2015
and code dont have to be used no more to update? = maybe thats why generator doesnt know for that reason what code to create?
