Meh...

What a surprise it looks exactly the same as the F30, which looks exactly the same as the F10, and the 3GT is just a bloated version of the same car.

After years of criticizing Audi for having their cars look the same, BMW has followed the exact same path.

And the side vent, functional or not, looks absolutely hideous.

The fog lamps just don't fit nice in the front bumper ... don't like them.
Otherwise looks ok, but man, the renders got me excited. They looked much better.

Looks great. However, it seems really big - almost like a 6 series.

Ugh that ugly side vent. I hope there's a way to remove this cheap looking piece of plastic.

I'm not feeling it. It looks like they took big knife and cut the front fascia off of the e92 or something. I really hate how they flattened the front fascia on the f30/f32. I'm so glad I picked up an '11 e92. My next car is definitely going to be an audi s4 or something.

'meh' just about sums it up. Saying that, it's nicer from behind than the e92 was.

What's all the references to M4? Does that mean BMW will now make a 4 dr M3? Or better still an M3 touring?

I can't quite put my finger on it but I feel more partial towards the Porsche Cayenne now... can't think why...

And now they all look the same size too. The F32 looks huge. It looks the same size as a F13.

This is what BMW will be making:

F80 M3 = 4 door sedan (based on F30 3 series sedan)
F82 M4 = 2 door coupe (based on F32 4 series coupe)

You can see spy pics of each at http://www.bimmerpost.com/m3/f80m3/

I don't care if it gives me the services of an escort, the damn thing looks idiotic

Looking good here which means it will look fantastic when you get the following:
1. M Sport Kit
2. Non crappy, grainy, spy photos/real life
3. Better color

Can't wait to see what people do with this.

Anyone see a resemblance in the front bumper to the new 2014 e63 amg? I think the e63 pulls it off better.

Not a fan of the new 4 series coupe. Perhaps the M4 will look much better.

  2. why rear looks like 3 series?
  3. why front looks like 3 series

This 4 series looks more 3 series than e92 vs. e90 which were both 3 series cars...

Anyway, I get that BMW wants it to look like that, it wants to charge some $$$ for the car, it needs to make profit, it doesn't care about what I like but cares more for some research that shows this type of design will sell. I am OK with that, it is just that I wont buy it. I am sure there are lots of guys looking for the sportier and meaner looks in a BMW and will potentially go to C or A or Cadi cars to get that...

that's all.
Yup. Looks like virtually the same car as 335i although 2 less doors. No thanks. I'd take an S5 over this 435i if I wanted a coupe. Hopefully it looks more special in person.
+1

Definitely would opt for an S5 over this lame ass looking 435. Ugh what a huge disappointment!

Now if they would keep the stupid run flat tires off this then Audi will have a real serious competitor for the A/S5. That alone could be enough to tip people towards one or the other. They both are great cars. Hopefully BMW starts paying attention to the fact that run flat tires do not belong on a sports coupe with 35 series tires.
