So, xDrive only on the 340i and no 335d. Still, it looks like it's got proper wheelbarrow tailpipes rather than the hidden things on the saloon.

I like grey cars, the good greys anyway, but that struck me as bloody odd too! Dark blue, grey, grey.

I'll take an M340i Msport special or whatever it is called in any colour except dark blue or grey or black or white
At a push I'd take primer (dravit) grey to match my daughter's primer (moonstone) mini... |

So if sales are due to start in September - and the M340i will be available from launch - presumably not too long before it appears on the configurator?

M340i saloon is on the German configurator and priced at €61,950 and German press is saying €63,250 for the touring. So taking into account the difference between current BMW UK/German pricing then I'd expect the saloon to be around £48k and the touring around £49k. Maybe 10% discount achievable for the first cars?? |

looks better than the saloon !!
nice to see that that ambient lighting package is brighter , or is that just the video ? the grille looks far more acceptable on the tourer than it does on it's saloon variant . overall thumbs up !!!! |

With paint and a couple of extras will easily be a £50k car, £55k without a lot of effort.... but the discounts might bring the PCP numbers back to something that is a few grand down and less than £600 a month... |

I'm guessing your estimate of £49k above is for a standard spec car in which case one with a few extras could well have a list price closer to £55k? Think isleaiw1 has just made the same point and if true it will take more than a 10% discount for me to place an order! |

I've got those options on my X3 (except Laserlights as not an available option) and would have to say they increase the premium feel. Most of them would increase the GFV though so some £ can be clawed back, assuming PCP.

I know the M40i X3 has been / is being discontinued but what would the list price have been with most of those extras on? The touring has to be a few k cheaper...

That's way too complex for my quick *** packet calculation but I quickly got over £55k without trying so a list with extras for the Touring of up to £55k seems reasonable... Edit to add link to topic in off topic... https://f30.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1622345 |

I think they will be rare beasts and with the pressure on C02 via the EU targets I very much doubt they will support them as they did the 340i.

Still can't stand that front grille but like all before this and most probably after with 3ers & 5ers the Tourings always look so much better than the Saloons.
