My F30 330D, "330 YEH"

This is a UK import - I brought it over with me when I moved here last year.

A re-mapped 330D putting out about 230kw, with a 0-100km/hr 4.9 seconds. It has an alpina hear box flash as well.

Mods done:

Black double slat F80 style grills
M performance rear diffuser
M3 style spoiler
De-badge
Private reg
F80 style mirror caps
Change foglights - 4750K H8 bulbs
M performance front splitter
Black gloss side sills + extensions
Darkline (shadowline) rear lights
Wheels - 624m 20"
Spacers - 12mm front / 15mm rear

Coding done:

Windows open door and engine off
Stop auto stop-start (remember setting)
5 Indicators on soft-touch
2-wipe auto windscreen wash
Puddle lights on reverse
Fogs soft on with welcome lights
Brighter angel eyes with headlights on
Entire SMS text display
Enabled Speech Input for E-Mail reply or SMS reply
Speed limit info
Maps update
Music/idrive off after door is opened (when ignition off)
Remove disclaimer on PDC/reversing camera

I plan to get a twin tail pipe at some stage.

I love this car - such a sleeper! Diesel, so no noise. But loads of torque and so quick 0-100, it's unexpected at stop lights that's for sure

Let me know what you think!

Should've kept the badge. It's rare to find a f30 330d in Aus as it's not sold here I believe

Looks great. The first two photos could be used in BMW’s marketing.

Beautiful. I'd just consider upgrading the head lights otherwise it is perfect. What did you use to do the coding? Must get around to that one day.

Out of interest, what was the total import costs and shipping in the end?

I believe they are not imported here for sale at all. So only if someone happened to import one like me!

Thanks very much! I actually prefer the pre-lci xenons like mine! Otherwise yeh would seriously consider upgrading. Don't you think the LCI angel eyes look a bit like a new Golf?

lol.

Honestly I actually lost track of the total cost... it did start to go on and on, and some unxepected things also. Shipping was $2500 ish. Import duty 5% value / GST 10% value / looooads of importing bits like....

insurance (for the transport of the goods to Australia)
customs duties, GST and LCT
storage and delivery charges
logistic services providers' charges
customs brokers' charges
entry processing charges
steam cleaning for biosecurity
wharf and transport charges
costs to have your vehicle meet State or Territory registration and insurance requirements.

My car was valued for the GST/import duty very.... well So that helped.

Got my roof wrapped black, and wrapped the M-style mirrors as the paint had cracked. What do we think? or

I'm seriously considering wrapping it 3M Fiery Orange.... Bad idea? I've had this car for 4.5 years and although I love it would be cool to have a change!

Looks good mate!

Coming from one of the few E92 330Ds that use to get around i can say they are a really underrated car! Would have seriously considered an F30 if they were available here at the time.

Do it! It can always be removed a few years later if you wish. However, I must say that it looks just excellent as is.

The current turbo diesels are excellent performers. They can be problematic if the car is mainly used for stop/start city and suburban driving though.

A local place near me (Shellharbour), did a good job. He did my roof, including roof-rack attachments, and wing mirrors (which needed sanding down) for $500

Thanks! They really are, I love mine. So much torque! Especially after a remap

I think mine is the only F30 330D in Australia

Finally got myself a twin pipe exhaust - no sound/power changes (it is a diesel after all...) just aesthetic. What do we think?

Also... thinking of getting it wrapped 3m Fiery Orange - see below. Yeh or nah?
