HPFP Stock map?

I have bootmod3 and have an upgraded fuel pump. Can I have the upgraded fuel pump with the stock flash? I know there’s settings to choose stock or a specific fuel pump. Could I have it set to the specific high pressure fuel pump with the stock map/tune? I need to pass inspection so I have to flash it to stock. Anyone know? Or would I have to swap the high pressure fuel pump back to stock?

yeah you can edit the settings on the stock map.

you only run into a problem if you pull bm3 and lock the dme.

so flash the stock map with the hpfp setting and lock it.

Not sure if OP is in California, but this issue is one reason i have not upgraded the HPFP. If he is in CA and subject to Cal ID / CVN checks, there is no way he can pass with the HPFP setting enabled, and thus, if he has a HPFP that requires software configuration, he will have to remove the HPFP, completely uninstall BM3, and relock the DME to pass. It's not about being on the stock map, its about having 100% (yes, 100%, not 99.9999999%) OEM software on the DME to be cross referenced with a database of OEM software.

Also have one more question. What, if any, difference is there with flashing to the stock map compared to flashing to stage 1? The cat is the main issue with passing but I’ll swap it to stock. Will it pass on stage 1 ots? Just have to make sure the cat monitor is on?

Exactly, that’s why I responded confirming that phantom was correct and that I was in Texas. But the troll couldn’t get that. His state explains it all lol Floridians
Hey thanks for the help Jeremy! Always on the forum helping out others as well!
