Tow Hook Eye Theft

Anyone else had their Tow Hook Eye Cover pinched? I was parked in a Q-Park underground car park in Manchester for a couple of days & assumed it happened there... Glad it was my 3GT and not my M3... But typical, my dashcam is now in the M3 - would loved to have posted a pic of the scum... Found a place on eBay that supplies & paint matches to chassis number for £44 so that is good enough for me. I guess I could wait a bit longer in case my one comes up for sale! If I was to bother to sort the nick they took out from the bumper prying it out the bill would be a lot more...

Someone just 'lost' one over on the Facebook page and I personally lost one from my '63 335d.

They have a habit of coming loose when jet washing so I wasn't 100% sure it was pinched but I did wonder.

I bought one from a salvage place on eBay - just avoid private sellers since they could well be the culprits!

Chances are someone got their stolen and so stole someone elses which matches...its a bit too easy to completely remove tbh.

Hope not....but if you ever have to get any party of the car resprayed, good idea to buy some front/rear tow and headlight washer nozzle covers and get them sprayed at the same time, to keep as spares.

Can always sell on if they become surplus to requirements.

Not the tow hook but had a centre cap nicked in the first week I had my car.... I mean come on you can get 4 of the bloody things for £6 off eBay!
