Reverse Mirror Tilting

Hey everyone,

I just noticed my passenger side reverse mirror does not tilt down anymore when in reverse. I cannot seem to find a setting in Idrive to enable/disable. I'm thinking it's broken, any suggestions?

Check you rear view mirror L/R switch-the thing that adjust the view. I believe that switch, if its swithed to the right rear view, it disables the movement when in reverse. The tech at my dealer had told me this when I questioned him whether or not the left rear view mirror was supposed to move in reverse. Or at least I believe thats what he said, but I know that there's a way to deactiviate the right rear view mirror. Good luck

It should be your L/R switch. It disables it. I keep mine off u less I am parked near a curb.

This is probably one of the features I was unaware of, I was always curious as to how to disable it.

Perhaps unrelated, but I've noticed that when my left side mirror tilts for reverse, it doesn't return to the previous setting when I go back into drive. I end up having to manually move it back a lot of the time. Anyone else experienced this?
