20s on stock xdrive?

Anyone have a set of 20" wheels with a non-lowered xdrive suspension?
Just wondering if it would look goofy or not.
Pictures would be much appreciated! 😊

yes they will definitely look goofy, I put 19's on my xdrive and took them off and sold them immediately, sat way too high.

I ran 20's (20x8.5, 245-30/20) on stock xDrive for a while, but have since lowered the car. Haven't reinstalled the 20's yet. Here are some pics before lowering. In all honestly, it did look a little goofy from certain angles, but it still looked good I think.

Thanks guys.
It doesn't look AS bad as I thought, but seeing as everyone lowered it eventually that's still the way to go

Weird. My 19s do not make my car look like this. Do you have the standard suspension?

xDrive, standard suspension. My car is lowered now, but the wheels still would've looked bad as they made my standard brakes look minuscule

Maybe it's the adaptive on mine then. Never thought about the smaller brakes looking bad.

I do judge the Honda Accord sports with the big rims and tiny brakes though. Ha

X drive is 10mm higher than rwd cars as well, and I believe m sport/sport line package is 10mm lower

also along with making the brakes look tiny, they also felt very under powered due to the weight of the wheels/tires, and the bigger wheels made the cars gearing effectively taller and it felt very sluggish

Interesting. Your car certainly looks way higher than mine, even though in the pic I posted we should have the same suspension, unless wagons ride higher. What were the tire sizes?

What was your OE setup then, this just doesn't add up?
From what I'm familiar with, that sizing would would only be =< 0.2" greater than the OE setup. So the car sitting effectively 2mm taller overall was a visually discernible difference, that made the wheels look it look "goofy" to you?..or did you just not like the X-drive's ride height to begin with? Not trying to flame you, just not understanding your rub, so to speak.

Huh, those heights line up well enough with OEM. Honestly pretty confused as to why you got such different results. We should have (I think) had the same ride height, but looking at my pic then yours thats clearly not the case. Maybe to PO of your car lifted it?

My stock setup was 17" 393 with 225/50/17, and no, with the 17's the height appears normal and factory.

The car is bone stock, never modified. It was lowered this weekend and stock springs came out.

Mine came from the factory with 20" 405M Rims. I think they look fine. I don't plan on lowering the car any time soon either, given the whole VI situation in Vancouver currently.

wow i had to read up on that. and here i thought NY and CA were bad. I was just in vancouver last week and loved hanging around robson/burrard for the car scene there. Explains why i saw lots of cops and not a lot of modified cars.
