F30 340i M Sport and F31 330i LCI Facelift Models Seen With LED Head and Tail Lights
BIMMERPOST NEWS F30 340i M Sport and F31 330i LCI Facelift Models Seen With LED Head and Tail Lights We have the latest F30 and F31 LCI facelift prototypes to show you. Until now, adaptive LED headlights have only been available on the 4 Series, but as we can see, it will soon be available on the F30/F31 LCI models. Alongside the LED headlights, the F30/F31 LCI will also feature LED tail lights. As seen before, these prototypes show a restyled front bumper, deeper inset headlights (from the beefier bumper design) and shapelier kidney grilles. The M Sport bumper seen for the first time here doesn't appear to undergo much changes. According to our latest info, the 335i becomes the 340i with the LCI refresh and its N55 engine will be replaced by the B58 engine when production begins next Summer. The following year (2016), the 328i becomes the 330i and its N20 engine will be replaced by the B48 engine. The 3 Series LCI models begin production next July (2015). |

Someone else was saying the B48 and B58 wouldn't hit until Summer 2016, but I'm glad that rumor is wrong. The LED's and better engines already have me sold.
Can't wait to get myself into a 2016 for real cheap when my lease is up July 2016! |

I'm going to miss my LED lights going from my 4 to the 3. But I can't wait for the Facelift..

Yes the headlights look like the ones of the 4 Series concept.
I think BMW is taking too long with the new engines switch. Not fair for the new X6/X4 owners with the 35i engine. BMW should try to coordinate engine releases with new car releases. But since they use only 3 o 4 different petrol engines for their whole line, its difficult to be decent with that. Last edited by Manbnda; 11-27-2014 at 11:30 AM.. |

LED tails? Aren't the regular tail lights already LED? Unless of course this is referring to full LED tails, i.e. brake lights and turn signals also which are of course incandescent currently.

I am one of those new M3 owners and could care less about the full LED taillights, honestly these don't look all that great to me anyways. As for the CSL great car except for it's Achilles heel...that piece of shit SMGII transmission. What a mistake for them not to at least offer some with the 6MT.
