OK, so they have added that now then.
The knock sensor will retard the timing considerably on 95, so run it on 98 if it takes it. Problem is, it will only advance when it sees pure 98, so it may take a 2-3 tankfuls. Run the 95 as low as you dare and then fill up with some 98 or 99. You could add an octane booster of course, but it is expensive to see any true gain. I would run Tesco 99, my E350 really liked it, and no more expensive than Shell 95. |

Just returned from Northern road trip!
Ok, so it was motorway @ 70 ish with cruise on, got 45.8 mpg Not too bad for a 440i with M Performance exhaust etc!!! |
