2014 BMW 435i - Looking for more exhaust sound, are these purchases be sufficient?

a screenshot is attached with the items. Are these good items to improve sound for the cost?

Also, is the JB4 only to fix the check engine light or does that help increase sound/performance?

Thanks!

Just read this thread for a quick summary of exhaust + catless DP considerations. There are also a billion other exhaust threads and videos online. IC+CP are not going to change sound at all.

https://f30.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1764519

If you are really asking if a JB4 only removes a CEL and does not change the performance of the car i highly recommend you do some more research on modifying your car before buying anything. Not only does JB4 do way more than suppress a CEL (and apparently the new JB4s dont even do that in the USA anymore), there are also tunes that are 'better' that can remove only the CEL triggered by catless DPs...

Why not just get a catback exhaust for more sound, less hassle too.

+1, if you're interested in sound alone even an axleback will suit you, depending on how loud you're looking for.

Just to make it clear to OP since he seems new, and exhaust is only going to provide a sound change and no performance.

In contrast, the mods in OP are the "FBO" mods for performance and allow you to run various stage tunes. The DP in particular will change sound and offer significant performance gains, especially when paired with a tune. Also, even if you still want just sound, a CP is still strongly recommended as preventative maintenance if you are running stock.

Muffler delete if sound is all OP is looking for. Cheapest and easiest option for "sound".

So many threads on this OP.
