Any has melted pull handle?!?
Mine is not as bad as these pictures, but it is heading that way. Do u think BMW will cover this out of warranty?

Maybe just cleaning up the car a bit would help? You'd think they would at least vacuum the carpet and take the crap out of the door storage for the "after" picture.

This video describes the problem and the fix. My rear ones are OK, driver side has minimal melting, the front passenger has one spot melted.
The sticky plastic is on top of hard plastic, it looks like the soft touch material melts dependent on use/heat/other factors. Have to say, G20 door handle design is much better than F30. |

I got mine off ebay - some guy was offering a kit of both fronts for less than $40. I didn't use the passenger side, it was OK. Cheap enough and a ridiculously easy install.

Hand lotion will accelerate the melting, but eventually they will all do it.
I'm not sure how I feel about the Chinese eBay ones.

Everything I've ordered through AliExpress has been top quality, usually at a better price than EBay. It takes seven to ten days to get here, but if I don't need it tomorrow it's my first stop for shopping.

It is not extremely simple as the back tabs need to be broken, right? I can't figure out why BMW does not use screws instead?

I used a cordless drill to drill straight down into the head of the post. I used a drill bit the same size as the post. Then they just popped out.

Everything I've ordered from AliExpress had 'free' shipping. Of course it's not free, it's just built into the price. They still have come in cheaper than EBay or Amazon. The difference in the price is because with AliExpress you're buying direct, with EBay and Amazon you're buying from an importer, so you're feeding an additional mouth.
