A solution of warm water and a small amount of vinegar will get rid of the salt stains. The vinegar breaks down the salt making it easy to clean.

I hear ya. New England winters completely destroy daily drivers. It's a full time job trying to keep your car clean and prevent it from rotting away with the truck loads of salt they dump on the roads.

Yup,, we got 12+ in my neck of the woods on Monday. This is why my baby has been sitting for the past 4 months... Just waiting for winter to end...

I use this same method, however the leather seats can be a bit more stubborn.
