it's my favorite, too! you constantly have to interact and can appreciate it the most, too. i was looking at custom and then when i saw there was a v2 OEM version that was exactly what i wanted, less than half the cost of custom, and how easy the swap was, it was done!

ok, so a majority of the fine scratches buffed out nicely. interior trim has been swapped from the aluminum hexagon with matte blue finisher to the piano black and matte red finisher which has been painted matte blue.

for those not familiar, i installed OEM 437M wheels.
i swapped out the tires for some non RFT - continental ECS. such a nicer drive and i appreciate the 437M design so much more, along with the weight savings! Last edited by monkiboy; 06-10-2017 at 10:25 PM.. |

i'm with you on the drop. i got a lip and diffuser coming in really soon. i am waiting to see what driving around with the lip is like and how much clearance it leaves me to keep things practical. it's not cheap so don't want to risk losing my front lip anytime soon and the extra travel along with the additional compliance from the non RFTs and sidewall have been really nice in the short stint i've had them. road are the most disasterly here than anywhere else i've been in the US and i've traveled a lot. if the lip has plenty of room to go once installed (i am xdrive) then i'll probably looks into dinan springs and the OEM cut bump stops. a drop really would set it off, though. |

Look at AC schnitzer springs. Feelinblessed has them with OEM 432s and it looks just right. Not too much. I think they are not as much of a drop as others

Ha! Your ride is that which we all aspire to. Well I do anyway. I wonder if the drop is the same for xdrive as it is for rwd with the ACS springs? Feelinblessed, you have rwd, yes?

yes, stockers were:
225/40 255/35 swapped to: 235/40 265/35 most folks go with smaller profile but i like the added compliance and ride quality improvement with a slightly larger profile especially with how bad roads are around my way. |

i will check them out but i really like how dinan has the warranty behind their parts especially since i don't plan on having this car for more than a few years. increasing the spring rate without doing the shocks as well can create potential issues especially with the limited travel on harsh roads around here. if i do it, i'll just likely keep to dinan. but first lip and diffuser install to see how we are rolling, clearance wise

i hear ya. I think I'm going to go in a slightly different direction. i really dont want to lower the car even tho it is crying out for it - somehow still looks good at current height with 442's. I have spacers but havent put them on yet. Plan on staying with the 442's, putting the spacers on - purely for looks mind you (slightly pathetic but shit thats the way it is) - and then offset some of that added unsprung weight with some high performance all season conti DW6 or Michelin Pilots - well we'll see. Anyway your build is awesome.

lost all my coding due to a dealer reflash so redid it again today with a more extensive list. did the video in motion at any speed this time on my own and screen mirroring along with all the other cool things like power fold of mirrors at lock and unlock doors at power off.
