Good luck with that. A maxed out PS2 will be lucky to hit 580WHP. 650 is at the crank not at the wheels

Not totally true tbh.. a rwd car that's maxed out could on a good day with a high number friendly dyno.

I can take a stock car and pull 650 on the dyno if you want. It's not hard to do whether it's accurate or not. It's why dyno numbers don't mean shit for bragging rights and is only good when used as a tool.

Haven't been posting much and seen this thread kinda slow, so here's my best run so far from last year. E50 tune, Nostrum HPFP, meth injection. Also using drag mode on xhp stage 3. Unfortunately 6th gear is slipping now, but otherwise car runs just as strong. This night was the first time messing with launch control in xhp. If I can figure out how to get off the line quicker I'm hoping 10.x this year.

No logs. I'll try to get some 60-130 data. I was hoping to find some guidance on rearend solutions as I have been having problems with CV joints.

127mph is one of the better trap speeds I've seen from a N55/PS2 combo. DA was approximately 2400-2500ft that day.

No, factory weight. Had a little under 1/2 tank of fuel and 5 gallons of wmi. That run was with drag mode in xhp. I picked up 1-2 mph with it enabled. Unfortunately 6th gear is slipping now lol. Doing struts and springs in next week or two and hoping I can get off the line a little quicker. Not doing suspension specifically for drag though. May try a better tire this year.

Nice to know it picks up that much on drag mode, but I does state it will create more wear.

Mickey Thompson et street R hands down the best drag radials.

Plans for the transmission ?

M2 guy made 500whp on a custom E30 tune - full spool at 3800rpm?

Tune is conservative because I’ve already broken a Pure Stage 2 before, so I wanted to dial it back. Old tune was for sure quicker, but this one is just better in every other way.

Super happy with these results and these were the exact numbers I was expecting. It actually made more power on the track tune than expected.

Yeah, I was aware of the warning. It just feels so good I couldn't turn it off. My adaptations look pretty bad now, but it's still running. I'll take it as far as I can and then plan on doing a Pure transmission.

real noob with cars here trying to learn from the masters.

My 2015 435i auto is FBO with bootmod3. Can i upgrade my turbo to stage 2 without any other modifications (like fuel)?

Also since its my daily I try to keep it passing inspection (why i went with catted DP) should be no issues with emissions right?

You can put any turbo you want on your car. You will be fuel limited though, just depends on your power goals. Your stock turbo is already taxing your fuel system if you've turned it up, but you will see some gains with a PS2.

If you dont want to upgrade your fueling then the PS2 is not for you.

3 ways to upgrade:
WMI (methanol injection running off a separate tank)
PI (port injection running off the pump fuel)
Other fuel pump

My feelings are still a bit hurt from not hitting those 500WHP that everyone talk about on PS2

Yes yes, a dyno is a tool for delta measurements but anyway...

Car does 100-200kmh in ~7.6sec

VirtualDyno: DynoJet 1.09 factor

Fuel is 98RON + 100% methanol, custom tuned

Power
MAF = 410 g/s / 0.80 = 512 CRANK HP
440 WHP / 0.85 = 518 CRANK HP

Virtualdyno is pretty inaccurate.

Best to use dynojet, mustang dyno or dynapak.

Doesn't cost much, and I'm sure there's one somewhere within 400km range

I never trust a dyno based off a log.

You can just calculate it from the MHD Torque calculation:
https://www.omnicalculator.com/conve...-to-horsepower

RPM | Engine Power
5400 | 407
5700 | 421
5800 | 430.3
6000 | 442.7
6100 | 453.2
6200 | 460.5
6300 | 468.6
6400 | 467.5
6500 | 472.3

Subtract by 14% (manual) or 17%? (auto)

Also you're a PWG, your downpipe housing is smaller than an EWG: 3.5" compared to the 4" So there is also a issue that your flow (and power) will be less than a EWG.
