Installing it tomorrow hopefully. It's solidly built with a bit of weight to it. I'll measure the dimensions & weight later.

Here's a copy of the instruction.Created a translated version beneath.

would it fit with a big 3inch exhaust because the stock plate was causing rattle with my exhaust where they were too close.

I doubt it because its position is the same as the stock one so if your exhaust was hitting that it would also hit this one too.

Got it installed first thing this morning. First impression is less body roll entering a corner at speed, surprisingly it took away the rumble from the start stop.

I have a 3" full exhaust and the clearance is fine for mine.

Might try it for a week before giving my thoughts on it.

I installed the F80 brace on my F30, but have since went further and purchased the brace from the F32. The coupe's brace ties in two additional contact points and is pretty inexpensive.

Did you experience any improvement in handling with the F32 brace? If so, I wonder if adding the CPM brace would further improve things.

Are those two extra rods to reduce the yaw movement of the subframe during cornering? Are they solidly mounted? Have you noticed any difference?

That's a photo of the underside of my F31 340i I took while it was on the lift at a friend's garage and those are stock bracing parts. My March 2015 F31 330D also had the same bracing.

Yea, I used your image since I didn't have one in my phone at the time. Since F30s don't have the same type of brace as the F31/F32, I ordered the parts and plan on putting them in a week or two.

Not on yet... My shop of choice (Lux Motorwerks) has been backed up with SEMA projects. I'll have it on in a week or two.

Looks like the F31 and F32 have different part nos for this:

33316861811 is shared with F31, F34 GT and F36: http://www.realoem.com/bmw/enUS/partxref?q=33316861811
33316797444 is shared with F32, F33 and F36: http://www.realoem.com/bmw/enUS/partxref?q=33316797444

Interestingly, the F31 part appears to weigh a bit more than the F32 part but I doubt there's much difference though if both parts fit the F36

I have installed the F80 plate and similar cross brace for F2x series.

I have quaife LSD and JB4 with ~ 400bhp/460lbft and the rear brace positively locates rear subframe to the underbody.

More power and QLSD putting more reactions into the rear subframe bushes meant occasionally worming under hard acceleration. With underbody chassis bracing the rear is now much more stable and any and all of the aforementioned wobbles have gone and the car is now even more composed especially over bumpy roads, typical of what we have here in the UK.

Interesting the F80 plate can be installed with the cross brace. Did you have to use longer bolts?

Yes - installed longer F8x bolts.

The stock F2x bolts are 3/4" long and the stock F8x bolts are 1" long

Can this be done to X-Drive cars as well? Or is this a strictly RWD upgrade?

Edit: Never mind my question, I just checked a picture of my X-Drive's under-body and the panels look the same.

Hi Glenn, would you be able to post the part numbers for the 2 additional braces?
