Given what you & I went through last time I'm really looking forward to hearing how it works out this time. Did you speak with Dinan before you ordered them?

FYI -I am having the install done this Friday....I checked in with Dinan after reading about the various issues (told them about the forum chatter)...here is the response:

"You are correct, we have had a few issues with F30 Xdrive springs, but that problem has been resolved. We have a new set out now, which you will be receiving, that has been tested extensively through our R&D department."

Thanks. I expect Dinan products to work, they are a gold standard operation. As I wrote in my post, they and my dealer handled the problem as professionals. I believe they have fixed the problem. Looking forward to hearing how it works for you, maybe it's time to reorder...

I will say I got my springs installed about 2 months ago and have had zero issues with them as well. I thought i may have had some problems but it seems like everything is working well.

Let us know how it goes. I'm in the MPLS area and considering Dinan suspension for my 2014 335 xdrive as well. Is Imola a certified Dinan installer...?

Install went great. No issues!

Imola is not "certified Dinan installer" but that shouldnt really matter. The initial issues I had with the springs were covered by Dinan's warranty. Imola know their stuff.

Very conservative drop... nothing crazy (it's like 20mm).

For handling... It's very close to the comfort of stock but without so much of the floating feeling. Just a little more composed. :thump:

At the end of the day I'm happy. Wasn't easy but I'm done!

Good to hear it went well. I'm looking forward to it.

Is the drop equivalent to a stock no x drive m sport?

Your car looks great! Any issues when going over bad roads etc?

There must be some sacrifice when lowering?

Sweetness. I guess Dinan will be getting an order from me soon.

From what I've read and heard, this is as close to stock comfort as you're going to get when lowering your F30.

Thanks for the update, PabloK. I'd love to see more pics if you can take some. I'm still on the fence about how much the car is lowered.

Dealer called and said they're running behind and asked in it was ok to keep it over night. Main reason being they wanted their dinan specialist to work on it. I'd rather wait a day and have done right.

Total cluster - seems dinan sent the wrong parts. not happy trading my m sport 335 for a 320d loaner. Want my car back. What a bunch of crap. Advice - order your own parts - get the dealer out of it. TOTAL CRAP - should've checked the parts yesterday!

Heads up, to the SA and Tech who noticed the p/n and the tag. Some folks would've just installed the wrong springs. I stopped by myself and verified - the p/n. The 328 and 335 are different (I'd be surprised otherwise).
