Another good watch, especially from 8:14 where he is in the M340i on the track. Seems to know how to handle the car and for an xdrive, certainly seems rear biased.

All Xdrives are rear biased, my 335d does excellent doughnuts in the snow!

Yes indeed, but I guess I wanted to reassure all those that have said that wont buy a M340i is its only xdrive.

Like it or not, the fact is, all of our cars will look dated once they start hitting the road - was everyone head over heels in love when the F30 was released?

Yes I was, the only 3 series I haven't liked at launch was the E90, but at least it was an original design, the G20 is just a collection of design ideas stolen from other manufacturers!

Yea they're offering small discounts, but you'd definitely want to wait until it fully released to get much more off

I think nationwide-cars is showing about 12%, which isn’t bad pre launch

Edit: 15% on 330i, which is a massive saving!

Broker4cars seem to be offering about 25% on the 330i

http://www.broker4cars.co.uk/Buy/New...+4dr+Step+Auto

If that's real, that is a pretty serious discount for a car yet to be launched!

That M340i looks pretty spectacular to me. 0-60 of 4.4s - now that's supercar territory!

Supercars are mainly sub 3 secs these days, but still mightily impressive for a fairly economical family saloon car!

I have timed my 335d at 4.0 secs a few times, with a tuning box of course.

Yeah I guess so, super supercars anyway lol.

I've always considered around 4 secs to be supercar territory.

It would certainly give an E90 M3 a run for it's money and not a million miles off a F30 M3. In fact I'd say in the wet the M3 would be struggling.

Is that certain that M340i xdrive is for UK as well? Previous 335/340i couldn’t have xdrive due to some technical/ design problems with a steering rack or sth. I wonder how it is going to be possible now.
I think i could see myself driving one in 2020 but competition is getting stronger and stronger. Pricewise I think it is going to reach previous M3 territory

With all this talk about Schmee I decided to sample one of his videos, within the first 5 seconds I deeply regretted my decision based on what you said above!

Is he sucking helium or has he got his b**ls squeezed?

I assume its possible as the chassis is all-new (CLAR platform) compared to the F3x therefore both LHD and RHD xdrive would have been main design criteria while the G20 was on the drawing board.
