So supposedly I never knew this till today, after completing my brake fluid change,
I've done it twice so far on my current vehicle, my last F31, about 2-3 times as well.. always used Pentosin, but saw Pentosin LV today in the store, I thought it was for some special applications, I've probably seen it before but just glanced over it. Never knew our vehicles used low viscosity brake fluid? I haven't ever had any issues, I do have a softer pedal than I'd like, and now I believe I know why. Anyways, seeing if anyone else out there hasn't ever noticed like me, and bringing some awareness to those who didn't know. From what I've read online it's due to DSC and ABS on these cars requiring a less viscous fluid to operate more rapidly.

I first became aware of LV fluid in 2013 with the F30 intro. Haven't used it in the E39 or E46s.
