How to protect car parked outside near the beach

I've lived in FL most of my whole life, & most of that on the coast. Unless you live on/near the barrier islands you don't need to do anything. If you live on/near the barrier islands that I'd say washing with clean water (not well water) will help protect against the salt. That and a good wax a couple times a year.

5 mi. from the beach you don't need to worry about anything beyond normal everyday wear and tear.

I just bought the OEM F30 cover. I will make sure I only use it after a good wash.

A ceramic coating would be of added benefit in this situation. Consider GTechnique, Kamikaze, CQuart... many more out there to choose from.
