Recommendations for key fob cover?

I normally keep my keys in my pocket, even when at home. Sometimes I'll lean down or crouch which puts pressure on the keyfob. Three times now I've later found the trunk of the car open. It's happened twice on my fob, and once on a loaner (same type of fob).
The last time it happened was poring rain and the entire trunk got wet .

Got recommendations for a slim key fob cover?

Intrigued by this question as well.

Ive had 2 different covers, and both suffered the same issues.

I would recommend this one:

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07D593STR

Looks like chrome but it's rubberized (TPU). Dropped by fob several times and the cover is without scratches. Takes a bit more to press the trunk/unlock buttons, which is what the OP wants.

No cover, take the key out of my pocket along with everything else when I get home.

I always place the key in my pocket with the buttons facing out. That seams to help.

Hello BMW Experts!

If I could put some little dots around the trunk button... but what would work?
Crazy Glue might work, but what if it gets in the button holes $?

Have you looked into coding the button requiring it to be pressed for longer ?

You can change the longpress_open from 00 to longer '02' to '05' your choice

and also longpress_close similar options, meaning you don't have to hold it the whole time to close.

I use the OEM Alcantara MPerf Case - never had a problem with accidentally pushed buttons...

Can't remember where I read it from when I originally coded my car, may have been one of the many cheat sheets floating about.

This thread below goes into more detail though:

Mine requires long press by default.

I have the first one... but I really want the second one now. the first one is real nice but you have to unzip it to unlock/lock the door via comfort access like 5/10 times.

We have the leather cover in the previous post, but due to where the elastic is to keep the cover tight to the fob, it's not so simple to flick the fob out.

Do any of you guys know how to remove the logo roundel from the M Performance blade keys to replace it? Mine's screeched to hell now after trying to pry it off with an exacto blade. I've got the 4 button aluminum version (the previous owner must've upgraded it.)
