This is it in a nutshell and very true.
They know their business and are on a roll with new updated products which some here do not fancy.
It takes some people time to cotton up to new styling while some of the brand loyalists are unable to embrace the inevitable change. Always reminds me of the old guys at car cruises sitting in their aluminum chairs guzzling cheap beer griping about new cars.

Although I don't like this x8 mock-up, I will say I actually am glad BMW is moving towards the larger grilles. I know this is an unpopular opinion but as a younger person I feel like the kidneys on the 3, for example, look very dated. I mean they're reminiscent of the E36 and although the E36 was beautiful in the 90s, it's 2021. We need an update.

Imo the X7, X5, and the new M3 and M4 look absolutely fantastic. The new M3/M4 are extremely impressive in person. Again, I know this is unpopular, but as somebody new to the brand I find these models to be a generational leap and huge improvement in what had otherwise been stagnant and boring design.

I see a huge design difference between the grills on the X7/X5 and M3/M4. The X7/X5 dont have gopher teeth as most of the press is calling the M3/M4 front end.

The X7 is huge and should have the largest grill to be in scale of the vehicle but it doesn't take up the entire front end. Even the Roundel is the largest to stay in scale with the rest of the front end. Pictures make the Roundel look the same size as the X5 but its a lot larger emblem on the hood.

The X5/X7 look great. They are not like the M3/M4. I see a lot of X5/X7 but only seen the M3/M4 at the dealer so far. Usually parked up front very prominently. LOL

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. The X7 is a monstrosity. Pure and simple to this old school purist. But - all in the eye of the beholder.

They not only got rid of the iconic angel eyes but also introduced a new DRL design that's similar to the ones on Kia/Hyundais, I just dont understand....
