Sound clip or it didn't happen...lol I have been looking to go this route since last year but have been dealing with the same issues everyone here is experiencing. The additional cross bracing is the culprit. I would love to hear how a res delete sounds as this is the route I think I may go. It was also suggested by a Dinan rep in my area that the res delete from a muffler shop is equivalent to Midpipe they provide.
