340i Tails on 335i

Hi Everyone! Is it possible to put the new angel wing style tail lights off the 340i onto my F30 335i? It looks like the same chasis with new internals and was hoping it was a part for part swap out. Thanks!!

Can you explain what DEPO is- is that a brand or protocol/standard and can you explain what LCI is? Googled it already and found on an old forum it means "life cycle impulse" but that was about it as for as background or context.

LCI means face lift model. So for the 3 series its 2016 or newer they got some updates. Headlight/taillights, ambient lighting and etc.

Depo refers to aftermarket or no name brand.

But just search up depo taillights or headlights. You'll find out how they get it fitted onto our pre lci models.

I really cant decide if I like the new tails better or not. At first glance they are more attractive in and of themselves, but I think the OEM tails match the lines of the car better overall...

I was behind a 328 msport going to the gym tonight and decided I liked the original tails better. They are more bold and declarative where as the LCI is more beautiful and sophisticated.

Bold and declarative fits me better lol..
