Yes, if you sell the car then you can put your old odometer in and sell the 6wa separately.
However chances of selling your car with 6wa is higher if the buyer is a bmw fan and knows what is what.

That looks way better dude! Wish mine had this display. Who fitted it? Im near southampton

How does it pick up your mileage etc? My only concern would be warning lights and if all functions still worked after the swap over?

If you're interested I'll pm his details to you. The millage is stored in several places within the car so when it was plugged in the mileage showed strait away. There won't be any errors as it it has to be coded and they guy who does it is a professional not just some bloke with a laptop.

Cool and all the satnav features work?

I had a loan 118i earlier which had these dials and they were much better than mine.

Yeah all works as it should no faults what so ever. Haha I had a 118d loan car a few weeks ago which had this and that's the reason why I bought the new cluster. I believe it's now standard on the 1er and 3er.

The fitter (simon I believe) will have to install a new chip or virginized the existing chip to start with and then code 6wa to op's car so it will pick the vin from there.

And your comment re: picking milage is more or less correct.
Sam!!! you're back?!?

Hello guys,
I'm having a problem after I retrofitted the instrumental cluster 6WA FROM basic Kombi.
All works well but after a few days the check engine light comes on.
I checked the code with Carly BMW and it refers to the NBT conflict.
Any advice ?
P. S. The red dot 🔴 is there and it doesn't bother me. But the Check Engine Light does bother me.

Thanks.

Yeah, that's right. We have it on my wife's 320d, surprised they call it "full black panel display" as it's a little misleading. I have the full digital display on my 640d. I think the standard cluster on the F30 looks very basic, from the LCI they should have all had 6WA in my opinion.

The cluster needs to be virgingized before it can be fitted, Mileage & VIN.

The headunit must be coded with the 6WA options first via VO coding then re-read the ECU list and code the Kombi.

Just out of interest, can we retrofit a digital cockpit cluster to our cars? That would be cool!
