Is the meth kit always active or is there a button that you press when you want more juice?

Timing ramps up a lot more and IAT's drop every run. Pulled 440 on a mustang dyno

Dyno and logs would be very interesting to see. Also, peter, can you give us your insight on the install, if you did it yourself? How long did it take and how difficult and tedious was it? Where did you run the lines? From trunk to cabin then cabin to engine bay through the firewall like you did with the jb4?

PITA since the first shop did the job wrong. Went to another shop and fixed the other persons mistakes. If you don't know what your doing don't bother attempting yourself. Logs will come w/ dyno. First shop had my nozzles installed wrong and I did 410/410 awhp on mustang. With crazy throttle closure and timing retard. Idiots.

How did they install nozzles? We once had a shop install them backwards in a customers car

Once a shop didn't even install the nozzles.. Just the hose right into the bungs.

Crazy what some "pro" people do

Basically it was backwards lol. The entire time I was like WTF. Why is it so choppy and hesitant up top... power was up and down in the upper rpm band. Dyno looked like toddler scribbled it from 5500 to 7k. But, regardless the car would not hit target and would close throttle and retarded crazy amount of timing. These DME's are very very smart and fast to correct and keep the motor save.

That's why I'd always do the work myself if I can, so hard to find a good garage these days!

Looking forward to logs.

It's also an option to run the meth lines under the car and tuck and tie them up along the underside of the body near the brake lines and fuel lines then up to the engine compartment. The lines are not going to freeze or break.

This would also require drilling a hole through the trunk I believe.

There's a grommet somewhere in the trunk area that you can get through. If not in the well then behind one of the access panels through one of the one way vents that vent the trunk behind the panel.

Well if that's the case, this would probably be much easier then.

Running the lines like that is much more work but I think its a better way. Adds an hour or so to the install.

I just have a few questions, you said you daily drive your 340 how often are you refilling your meth? Have you had any problems with it since you installed it the proper way? When taking into for services at the dealership do they give you a hard time about it? Is it worth using?

Meth is definitely outside of acceptable at the dealer, don't expect to bring the vehicle in with meth installed and retain your powertrain warranty. If you think up have a "special" relationship with your dealer make sure the actual tech is onboard not just your SA. Your SA can tell you whatever he wants, it's up to the tech whether it gets flagged or not. I know a bunch of techs and none of them are going to look the other way to meth unless they personally are friends with you, even then they ask you to take it off to make their lives easier.

From my experience with techs/SA, this is 100% accurate!!!!

The amount of times I fill my meth tank is irrelevant. Because I might fill it up once a month and you might fill it up every 3 months. That question can't be answered because that depends on driving style. Besides it's as simple as buying some windshield washer fluid and spiking with 3 bottles of heet. Cheap and simple. 50/50 water meth mix right out of 7 eleven. No problems just nozzles installed wrong. Went back to dual cm7 since the larger nozzles were too much and lost power. I've already serviced my car with it. They didn't say anything. The people who are worried about their car getting flagged... should just stick to rims and cf bits. Because realistically they can flag you for the jb4.
