Costco offer

Hi Guys. Just wanted to let you know about the Costco offer, currently £80 off for 4x 19" tyres. Just paid £631 fully fitted for 225/40r19 & 255/35r19 Goodyear F1 Aysemetric 2. Keeping runflats for now. Initial impressions only, but seem a more compliant ride than the Brigestones .

Totally agree, I was quite shocked how much better my new Goodyears were compared to the old bridgestone. Maybe worn versus new makes a slight differance but still much happier after changing

I might check it out. I never went back after them insisting on tyre rotation on the Audi S3. The rear was more worn than the front. They insisted on putting the rears on the front as it was their policy. I walked away. I might buy the tyres though.

I'm getting rid of my as2's as soon as possible. My fronts have 6.5mm but I cant put up with them any longer.

It's funny I've done exactly that in the past. However, I fitted 4 tyres today so it was not going to be an issue.

I'm considering switching to the AS2 runflats as I heard they were the best of the runflats on 19" and they also happen to be the cheapest (often seen the AS2's with recent DOT on eBay, brand new from reputable tyre sellers for £120 fronts, £140 rears with vouchers that often come up - ex fitting of course but that's £15 per tyre max).

I have the CSC5's and I'm thoroughly unimpressed with them - high wear rate and low rear grip despite 4mm remaining.

Chris - can you give a bit more info? Why are you wanting to get rid of them so desperately?

These should be out soon........Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 5.

They state they will introduce 51SKUs between now and May 2019....with "intended fitments for the BMW 3-series"

Grip and crash/bang.

The AS2s are better than any of the other runflats I've experienced but they are super stiff and they crash over small bumps like mad.

Also they don't cope very well with 450bhp and a heavy right foot

Saying the best type of run flats is like saying the best type of dog turds!

So i had some tyres ordered from blackcircle as my as3 front had bulges with 6mm left... cost me something like £356 fitted.

Was meant to get delivered today for fitting but didnt turn up, so managed to cancel them with a refund.

Popped to costco and managed to order two as2 for monday delivery for £320 (with the £40 off)

Will see if the as2 feel any different to the as3’s that came with my car.

Too scared of costco or any garage which is not BMW because they always seem to trash my alloys. not worth the gamble i would buy the tyres and get them fitted by bmw

I didnt get as many miles on my Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 3s so went back to 2s which were excellent. Not had a chance to try the 4 or the 5s but will await the reviews to see if you get the same amount of miles. the performance is pretty much the same

My front and rear as3 show as 6mm after 15k miles.... which i think is very good.

Didnt think as4’s existed and 5’s not out yet.
