So my tires are almost out of tread so I'm planning to buy new wheels for this summer. My car is a 2014 msport 19 inch brakes. It came with 225/40/19 and 255/35/19. I want to buy wheels which are a squared setup, 19x8.5 and tire size are 245/40/19. They should fit no problem right? Also will this affect my speedometer with speed accuracy?
edit; car isn't xDrive.

Offset (ET) is needed for a more correct answer.

Since 245/40-19 is slightly taller than OEM size it's more important with correct offset. 32-35 would be a good starting point.

The speedo will be more accurate with the new tires, since it reads high from factory!

Offset is 35. So running a squared setup is not a problem?

Any specific reason to select square setup?

Are you also looking to reduce the unsprung weight, i.e. lighter wheels?

A 19x8.5 ET35 with 245/40/19 should be fine. We have a handful of customers who run those exact specs without making mention of any rubbing. I've also seen 255/35/19 on the same wheel specs.

Since my car came with high performance summer tires will there be any differences with going performance all seasons and would I need hub centric rings?
