I used to have the version with the yellow/gold writing but changed to the 41mm recently and agree, I much prefer the white writing. Not sure others agree from all the fuss I saw online about the change

Nice collection. I also have my name down on the new YM Ti and the new Mint Green Sky D. I think the normal YM like you have are very underrated tbh.

What do you find you wear the most?

The new YM looks amazing, I’m a Ti fan but it seems not many are when it comes to watches. However, apparently only 2 or 3 Ti YM being allocated to each AD per year it will still be a long wait

I guess most wear all year round is the TT Sub and YM. The Seamaster and SeaDweller are pretty chunky so tend to wear them more in the spring / summer with short sleeves.

But most watch wear over all will be my Apple Watch, find it very useful in the week reminding of the next meeting/call

I was going to suggest you have a look at these. They have a curved end for the Moonswatches but they’ve at least doubled in price since I was thinking about getting one.

It was just a cheap one from eBay, but liked the red pin stripes over the other options, really nice fitting on wrist and they are so light feels like your not wearing anything.

Thank you, and thanks for the link too! Looks good.

In the Omega store recently they told me people are buying straps in there at $150!! Totally crazy. If one of my current NATO’s went with the colour i’d put it on, not spending that on a new one for this watch!

That is nice, $50. Not terrible. Thanks for sharing.

I've read that swapping ends on the strap on the moonswatch solves a lot of the problem. It comes with the short part of the strap at the 6 o'clock position.

Move it to the 12 position and the long part to the 6 and it will look much improved. With conventional leather straps, the longer part generally is fitted to the 6 o'clock end, so do the same with this watch.

Just a suggestion, but it does look a bit better on the wrist.

To be honest, I think it’s half the point. The whole integrated bracelet sports watch thing is so hot right now. See the Christopher Ward Twelve that’s just released (amongst others).

I’ve always like the PRX and when they released the chronograph last year, I was quite up for getting one but not at the £1700 retail price. I’ve now got a chance at grabbing it for closer to £1k than £2k, so I’m pretty sure I’m going for it. The size might put me off though as it’s a bit thick.

Well after seeing how nice the rubber strap looked on the Mars I thought I would switch out the Sun ☀️ aswell. As the sun ☀️ is out today it seemed appropriate.

But think I will look for a white strap with yellow highlights for the Sun

The Royal Oak clone line has been discussed before and if it's a copy of anything, then it's the Rolex Oyster Quartz, not the Royal Oak. And if it is, then it didn't happen with it's issue in 2021 but in 1976 as the PRX is a modern interpretation of the Tissot Seastar issued then.

Basically, it's all because of the integrated bracelet, and the Royal Oak was not the first watch with an integrated bracelet, simply the best implementation.

Agreed. They really are beautiful watches, perfect for everyday wear.

My mate who has an extensive watch collection worth over £500k (would love to attach a picture of some of his watches but not mine to share) inc. a PP Nautilus Rose gold dailies a PRX.

His car collection is something to drool over also

Hope you have better luck than I did with mine. Sold two defective watches in a row and really soured my experience.

Back to being watchless and saving for an Explorer II
