Very nice, I have a couple of Seikos which I inherited from my Dad their not particularly expensive but they are really good watches, I wear them occasionally but not to often due to their sentimental worth.

I turn 30 next April and I am going on holiday to Dubai shortly before it so I am really tempted to treat myself to a "luxuary watch" in the duty free..

So far these are what I have my eye on.

New polar GMT would be my choice if looking at those 2. I would wait till you get over there and see what they have. You may end up with something different...

Thank you.
Both watches looking robust, solid and imposing. If it makes you happy definitely go for it.

I may be biased as a GMT owner, but the new opaline GMT would be my choice

I do like the new Black Bay on the 5 link bracelet though

Stumbled across these a few months ago, like the look of the Diver series. Can't imagine I'll buy one as I'm glued to my apple watch ultra but if any one else has one I'd like to hear what you think -

I like the look of those, clear, simple but stylish. Not that I'm likely to test them to 300m and I'm sure they're very capable, but a refreshing change for watches that are different and you would be happy swimming in the sea with them.

I like different when the world's waving their Submariners in your face.

Looks like they aim to repeat the fiasco of the Moonswatch and at a higher price point, but I guess it will be an automatic, even if it is the Sistem51.

It’ll probably prove to be popular still but I’m going to say the Helm I picked up is a better prospect if you can wait in the queue. Added a lume shot as I think I promised one a bit up the thread…

It's only taken me 18 months to get my hands on one. I actually ended up buying 2, the Mercury and Pluto. The Earth and Saturn are for friends.
Just happened to be at Covent Garden before opening and there must of been 3 or 4 resellers in the queue but the guard told them they were sold out and they left, came back an hour later to just look at one and they did actually have stock. No Moon or Neptune but picked up the Mercury. Was then on Oxford Street and thought I'd add a Pluto also.

Edit: Just saw they released a Blancpain Collab on Saturday, that must of been what the resellers were after as didn't make sense because the moonswatch doesn't really sell for much over RRP now online.

From next week, the Apple Watch Ultra 2

Have an Omega but hardly wear it as the current AW is more useful on a daily basis.

There are times however when you want a watch to be a watch and not a computer, so the Omega still has a use

Don't own a AW, keep thinking about getting one though. My Garmin serves as the sports watch but I don't really trust what it spurts out, garbage in - garbage out. AW seems more reliable and better written software, if only battery life was a little better.

Also have my Omega for times when a Garmin isn't suitable.

Got the call from the Tudor AD regarding the new carbon Alinghi FXD to tell me that there was one available if i wanted it , unfortunately the recent car purchase financial dust hadn`t settled so had to decline the watch.

Was clearing out the kitchen cupboard last week and found a Rolls Royce share certificate that i had hadn`t bothered with for years as the SP was historically low so no point selling , however the SP has jumped up considerably since so they will be getting sold ASAP and will be going back to the AD , cap in hand and see if i can get another one when they come back into stock

K

PS - Whats the best way to sell shares as i have never done it before ?

Not sure how you call it a fiasco, as they sold well over a million Moonswatches in one year, and boosted Omega sales figures by over 50%...

You may not like it, which is totally fine, but it sounds pretty damn successful to me

Not seen any of those RB racing ones yet but got offered the new US Navy black FXD the other day. Very surprised it came so quick.
