I have a 2014 328i manufacture red on 5/14,

I want to upgrade to a 8.8 screen display, i have one on the way. \\Before i ordered i did not do research, most threads say you must have HU_ENTRYNAV which started being implemented on F3X after 7/14.



I have an 8.8 inch screen on the way (picked it up for $150.

Is it 100% that the screen will not work?

If so, what does it take to make it work?

I will be driving this car for 4 years at least and i want to make it as good looking to me as possible, but that 6.5 inch screen MUST go.

I would like to stick to OEM, i do not like android or apple screen upgrades etc.

So, to make this possible, is there a certain model of screen i need to look for? or is the second option to buy the nav module and just replace it with the cuirrent one? seen them on ebay for $300-500.
