I've no idea mate! I only said what I was told at both BMW UK and my local dealer. Could be an oversight by BMW or maybe it relates to keeping an eye on whether any issues arise with your EGR? Maybe give your dealer a call for some clarification- mine were very helpful

Mine has no recall but has the Info2 after BMW assist replaced the EGR valve on the drive a little while back. Booked into the dealer this morning for next week, she said it has an advisory on it for that work being done but no recalls.

I had a service booked in for today and mentioned to Sytner Maidenhead BMW that I have this "enhancement notice" from the website. Picked up the car in the afternoon and paperwork says they replaced EGR valve. Same day no hassle, they did not even call to let me know...

A recall for my 2016 335d popped up this week with that code so phoned up and it's now booked in for a replacement... Not showing any signs of failure so I wonder why people are being told to ignore the same recall when they contact their local dealer 🤷*♂️

Turns out that form is crap.

Called and booked my brake fluid change last week, they called today to confirm details and added there was a recall for the steering rack to be checked. Which doesn't appear on the form.

The ones that do appear on the form aren't valid.

Just had the pre-arrival docs to read for COVID19 aligned work and hallelujah - they are not offering a free wash or vac to reduce contact with customer cars

My car has a note on the system stating 'Do not wash'. It was in for a recall and brake fluid change on Tuesday, they did say due to Covid-19 they're not washing vehicles - that's just fine by me.

The showroom was shut and they meet you outside at drop off and collection time.

My car has the same recall, INFO211056 Technical Enhancement, does that mean the EGR and if so, does it mean it has been replaced or needs done?

My local dealer is Belfast BMW.

Justcalled DickLovett bmw bristol, my 2013 bmw also has the INFO0211056.

I've been told that it's been put on the VIN incase the car has any future EGR problems for which any bmw dealer will fix for free.

If you don't have any EGR problems/symptons then you won't need to book your car for service.

Hi everyone I am new on here. I have a f30 330d xdrive and I have the same codes INFO211056 and 0011420500 I was told by BMW UK that it is EGR related and I have contacted Wollaston Northampton and they said I have a quality enhancement on the EGR cooler and will get replaced by them once the car goes in. Whoever has a separate code other than Info211056 should contact their dealer to get it looked at.

Just did a search on my 320xd, 2013 model, and have the same INFO211056 notice but no extra codes.

when will BMW UK issue a recall for the Xdrive transfer cases? They've done it for the North Americans...

Ive now booked my car in at Chester after it gained an extra code against the car. If you checked the other week and only got the INFO211056 enhancement then it might be worth checking again as 0011420500 got me booked in for a check.

So my car went in on Tuesday to Wollaston Northampton, got it back today and they replaced the EGR cooler. I believe the code 0011420500 is for a EGR cooler recall. On my invoice it says EGR cooler recall.

Called Barons BMW, Borehamwood, gave the code INFO211056. Charlie could not see it, I asked if he can see if the EGR had been done, he checked and told me that INFO211056 is in fact the EGR replacement after checking on "another system". he wanted to book me in for 23rd od June but had no courtesy car for that date, have it booked for the 17th of June and with a courtesy car.

I had INFO211056, 0011420500 come up for my 335d GT and have just phoned Cooper Norwich and have booked in for 18th June. It will have the EGR cooler replaced and I told them not to touch my remap and gearbox flash! They offered a wash and vac but I refused this as I just had it machine polished. Also got a loan car as a key worker.
