Haha I disabled my MPG from showing on my dash, decided it just doesn't matter to me personally anymore and I feel better not seeing it, just want to continue to enjoy driving. I used to always look at it and try to raise it. I'm tuned Bootmod3 and I encounter a lot of stop and go in my daily commutes to work and back and school and back every day, it is also not very long so I was seeing around 18 mpg at best (Dropping lower since the tune). I drive spiritedly when the chances arise. It will get a little worse when I go stage 2 soon and I do not care = smiling to the gas station haha.

You can have the best of both worlds with the Sprint Booster. Sensitive throttle with Comfort Shift points. That is how I run most of the time. My sport mode is set for chassis only so with VSS and Adaptive Suspension I have independent control of throttle and handling.

Just finished a nice 580km/363mile trip with quite a few uphill ramps in a mountain area at a constant speed of 120kmh/75mph car spent around 7.8 liters per 100km. I was impressed.

Highest I've ever got on my 320d M Sport/M Performance is 610 miles off a full tank, lowest I've got is 490 miles out of a full tank. Highest MPG I've gotten (on a 200 mile round trip) is 71mpg, highest MPG on a full tank I've got is 49mpg. I drive in Eco Pro most of the time but do put it through its paces in Sport mode on occasion!

Plus, saw a guy at the station today, hand on the nozzle, proud of his new Silverado. The meter said $105.70. And that's probably per week.

I gave up on keeping track. I drive 2 miles each way to work (right now). I may drive 60 miles on the weekends. I fill up maybe every 10-14 days. Pretty sure my gas mileage sucks since I really don't even get the car warm and only get up to 40 mph.

I drive a 2014 328d and I've began to realize that I should always have the car in Eco-Pro. I drive about 80% city to and from school, with the 20% left being highway to work. My car gets about 31 mpg in the city and an average of 38 on my way to work. Keep in mind that I often tend to avoid using sport mode when I am cruising so my numbers may differ from other people's on this forum.
My last total miles on a full tank was 503. |

I have a 2014 428xi. I believe the car comes stock with 17” but there were 18” on M series wheels.
How does going from17 to 18” effect the MPG and MPH displayed ? Am I going faster or slower than speedo indicates? Will this effect the mpg displayed and if so, how and finally, can the car be reprogrammed to accurately display what is actual with the 18” wheels/tires? Thank you |

On my 328 about 24-32 mpg highway, about 22-24 city and most if not all the time on Comfort driving. I only use Sport mode once in awhile or when at the track.
My 02 Chevy Silverado 2500HD with 45 gallon tank, that's another story lol.

In my 340i MPPSK:
Around the city I get anywhere from single-digit MPG when I’m having fun in Sport+ to an average of about 18 MPG commuting in Sport/Comfort. Mostly stop-and-go on 30 mph roads. I can get 21 in Eco if I try, but then I don’t get to hear the engine. On road trips, I can get 32 MPG if I drive 70-75 taking it easy. My record is 39.6 MPG over a 500 mile stretch driving S L O W in Eco. (It was Christmas Day, the Interstate was empty.) But honestly, the amount of gas money that driving in Eco saves is just not worth it to me, even on a road trip ~ $25 on a 4000 mile trip. Who cares. My default mode is Sport, with equal time in Sport+ and Comfort depending on mood. |
