i cant fathom people bagging their new (newish) BMW, let alone throwing on wheels that are too wide and have to do fender modifications (rolling and hammering...). Makes my skin crawl. I did all that with my VW and was excited that I decided i'd never do it again.

Then you should be fine with those tire sizes. The camber is going to be your major adversary on this. I'm personally not a fan of anything beyond -4 degrees. However, if you can deal with -5 to -7 and you plan on really slamming it, then it will work.

Has anyone managed to fit 18x9.5 ET25 up front?

Not sure if xDrive and RWD have any difference in clearance of wheelwell or such.

I run a 19x9.5 et27 up front right not. 255/35/19 tires and -2.4 camber. I have about 20mm of clearance from my fenders and I'm pretty low. You shouldn't have any issues with a 255/40/18 tire and slight negative camber. If you don't go too low you can run a 255/45/18 for a beefier look.

Do you think no camber, it could fit?

Looking at an 18x9.5 et20 setup, you have rubbing at full lock?

I am currently running:
Radi8 Wheels 19x8.5 et35 and 19x10 et40. 215/35 and 245/35.
Found a great deal on:
CCW LM5 18x9 et32 and 18x11 et25. 235/40 and 265/35.
Curious if they are going to fit...
I am lowered on BC Racing Coilivers, 2 finger gap on the front, 1,5 on the back. Can buy adjustable control arms for the back in case it does not work.

Rear might need camber. I'm having a little trouble with 18x10.5 +21 rear it has about a 2 inch stick out. Just waiting to get my rear camber kit to see if I can fit it batter.
