Can a marked M Sport vinyl decal be touched up/corrected?

Noticed these white marks when cleaning the other day. Now I have seen them it’s all I see!

Note the vertical mark is a water mark.

Can the vinyl be corrected?

They look fairly faded already so you don't have much to loose, a permanent trim restorer might hide it a bit as well as revive them. I used Gtechniq C4 and they came up like new.

How often do you have to apply this? This was a side shot from a month or two ago. They look ok.

Always wondered how hard wearing these are in terms of colour lasting, water marking and general day to day wear/tear.

To be honest, if it wasn’t for these marks I’m totally happy with them. Car is 4 years old. That C4 product looks really good so hopefully will make them like new again.

Mine were dead after three years on the car, they faded, I revived them with C4 trim restorer twice, but in the end I removed them completely as the side that gets the sun was crazed all over. They're an absolute twat to remove when you have the side blades installed. I had to de rivet and pull off the blades to get to the tucked part of the decal. The 3m tape they use on them is strong A.F.

Knowing what I know now I wouldn't bother with them. Also I like the cleaner look now.

It's great stuff. Looking at that pic yours are crazing too along the top a bit like mine did, its not the end of the world anyway, massive improvement there with the C4.

Did it hide the scuff you initially asked about?

A lot of crazing! It almost looks like the plastic has a weird texture. Might change them one day as it's not a huge expense. The scuff is less visible now that the rest of the trim has the deep black matching the colour used for the repair
It went from matt to gloss

Did you buff it with a dry cloth after applying? Should deepen it but not make it glossy.

Car looks good.
