Nothing has me worried more than a crappy ride after I lower the car and put the 20s on. 99% sure I'll be going the 275/30 & 235/35 route. The real question is what suspension to not ruin everything. (obviously going non-run flat tires)
Anyone have any advice? All the research is poining me to just do the Eibach setup since it's the most subtle. (I'm a non-edc xDrive car) |

Just mounted 20" 437m rims a couple days ago. Pardon the dirt, it's really muddy around my house at the moment due to construction and mud flaps only do so much. It's like this just a day or two after washing it.
245/35/20 8.5" front 275/30/20 10" rear Lowered on Eibach pro kit. |

I think I'm going to run the same setup as you. I definitely don't need anything extremely aggressive. Part of me wishes I had the adaptive suspension but then again, it seems to make things a little more complicated at times too. Are you on OE dampers?

Yes I'm on the OE dampers. I'm not sure what's complicated about it, push a button and they are stiffer They're a lot more expensive to replace but I figure that when the time comes that I need to they'll either be cheaper or I'll upgrade to something else.

Hi Guys and girls.
Is there anyone running 9x20 ET35 with 245/30-20 up front who would be willing to help me out by taking a picture that shows how much clearence there is to the front damper/strut? As I understand from browsing this forum 9x20 ET35 with 245/35-20 works without any rubing isues. thing is that I can get a sweet deal on 9x20 ET38 with 245/35-20 but I am not sure if the 3mm extra ET will cause any problems. The car is a 428i xdrive I am going to be running the same both back and front and the car is lowered with ACS springs. Best regards! |

No good pics to post thanks to a scenic drive that wasn’t very scenic. Soon I promise. Hoping for some help though. I just installed Rohanna 20x9 +35 front and 20x10 +40 rears. Right rear rubs during left turns uphill. I’m not sure it’s rubbing the fender or the carpeted liner. First noticed it during a hard sweeping right turn onto the highway. Thoughts? Should I adjust camber in? Have not heard the left side rub except over a good sized dip in the road that cause both to rub. Sitting on H&R springs.

Would 245/35/20 (going square for xdrive) work on OEM 405m, want to make sure I wont rub on fender line or strut (going with Pilot Sport A/S 3+)?
Spec I believe are 20x8 et 36 and 20x8.5 e47 for OEM 405m |

Don't have too many angles just yet as I've been working on the wheels for quite some time... but my beautiful refinished 624m's
Wasn't the biggest fan of these when I first saw them, but they've really grown on me and they marked a major "first mod" to my car besides a couple small things like led's and cover pieces I really enjoy the ride on them, especially my dws 06's Square 255/35/20 with very minor rubbing at full lock!

OEM Style 149's
Morning/Afternoon/Evening all,
Has anyone put on a set of OEM Style 149 alloys from the 7 series of yesteryear? Been trying to find some photos of them but to no avail. Like the looks of them and think they'd be amazingly stylish on the car but don't want to screw nowt up. Specs for the wheels 20x9 ET24 Front 20x10 ET24 Rear I am also looking to add the M Performance brake kit to the car as well, for a bit more stopping power over the stock (and frankly outdated) 300mm set up. |

offsets are too low. it will poke, rub the fenders, rub the fenderwell liner while turning. it's also changing the scrub radius and widening the track. contrary to popular belief, this may cause the car to handle more poorly in certain situations and increase the turning radius. F3/4 series oem offsets are et34-36 front, et34-47 rear. for staggered, i recommend wheels with et30-35 front, 40-45 rear.
