Rookie 435i Tire Questions

I have a 2015 BMW 435i Coupe w/ Xdrive and Sport Line. I'm looking to do my first tire change on it and am looking to get all-season tires.

My current tires are Michelin tires that both for the front and rear are listed as "225/40R19." As I'm looking at these different tires online, it seems that for my model they make a distinction for the width on the tires between the front and the back. Listed as follows " 225/40R19" for the front and " 255/35R19" for the back. I assume that when I bought my vehicle it came with the front tire sizes installed on the front and rear. Would this be correct? Would I have any issues having a mechanic replacing my current rear tires as " 225/40R19" with " 255/35R19? "

Also please give me any suggestions for what tires you guys would recommend for all-season. I've heard that Michelin is good and am looking at these two:

https://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires...r=Sport%20Line

https://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires...r=Sport%20Line

But I am more than willing to hear opinions from people more experienced on this subject matter as to what they would recommend.

Many BMW models come in square and staggered configurations. Your square setup has the same tires and wheels on all four corners. The rear wheels on the staggered setup are probably a wider width and a larger offset. You can't just install wider tires on your rear wheels that came from a square setup.

The most popular all season tires are Continental DWS06 PLUS and Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 4. Read TireRack ratings for differences.

Are you the original owner? What wheels - OEM or aftermarket - are currently on the vehicle?
