Trying to determine which head unit I have (CIC or NBT)

For a 2014 F30, my guess is you have the most basic ENTRY Head Unit.

Yea I have a COMBOX and the CIC interface so I am unsure whether buying the stuff for Bimmercode was a good idea at this point as I am seeing I might not be able to unlock everything I wanted to with it such as the Enhanced Bluetooth.

I went into my trunk and checked. And then with all this reading the forums and getting myself confused I double and triple checked and it is definitely a working combox.

Then you can just code VO Code HU_ENTRY and CMB_MEDIA for Enhanced Bluetooth (EBT).

Thanks for checking. Its an 02/16 build and Ive been told NBT Evo ID4 by BMWNA (which I now understand is incorrect) and also ENTRYNAV-2 by someone else (on this forum).

Anyway to confirm what the lowest level unit installed in a US Market LCI F30 was?

Thats what I have… just having trouble figuring out the actual model.

Thats what I have… just having trouble figuring out the actual model.

I would expect it to have ENTRTNAV (NOT ENTRYNAV2).

Read car with E-Sys and you will know for sure.
